The first aroma was slight and peppery with a veiled sweetness. The thin red wine had a short tart sweetness. A cascade of light acid that rolled around the tongue. Strong oak and leather dryness finished off this incredibly pleasant wine. Oh how I would love to drink this wine with a good selection of cheese and meats. I think this Falset would continue to unlock secrets of the food pairings. A perfect wine for entertaining friends with conversations and evening patio view. |
