Description:

Our 2004 Côte Bonneville Carriage House represents the alluvial Cabernet Sauvignon block with attractive bright blueberry, cherry, blackberry, and dark chocolate flavors, with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg lingering on the finish.  The fine tannins are well balanced with French oak notes.  Aromas of raspberry and bright cherry rise effusively, while the brilliant garnet color radiates from the wine.  2004 has been hailed by Kevin Zraly as an exceptional Washington vintage.  The 2004 Carriage House fulfills that expectation.

This wine pairs well with Tuscan braised lamb shanks or Copper River salmon followed by chocolate torte with drunken raspberries.

The 2004 Carriage House is DuBrul Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (80%), Merlot (17%), and Cabernet Franc (3%).  The wine was aged for 21 months in French oak cooperage, 85% new.  It was bottled, unfined and unfiltered, on June 3, 2006.  Alcohol measured 13.9%, titratable acidity measured 0.56.  653 cases were produced.

Price: $56.00 USD
