| Description: The 2006 vintage had a mild and long ripening season. These conditions favoured the accumulation of intense colour and flavours in both the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Medium in colour. The lifted nose is fruit driven with blackberry and cherry fruit. There is a hint of sweet spice. The palate is soft with medium bodied with blackcurrant fruit and a hint of anise. The soft and velvety tannins compliment the spicy oak to give an added layer to the wine. The wine finishes long and clean. It will cellar up to five years. |
