To find wineries on the site please use the search box just below the site header, or the filter above. When using the filter you can enter information in any or all of the fields.
For information on how the site works in regards to adding wineries, please see the information below.
When a wine is added to the site and their winery or producer did not exist in our system a new winery is created in the system using just the winery name and country. This helps keep the process of adding a new wine simple and allows our staff to go back later and fill out more detailed information about the winery.
Wineries are encouraged to sign up at Grapefoot.com and add information about their winery, vineyard(s), winemaker, and wines to the site. This free publicity is beneficial to both the winery and Grapefoot. As this is a community project and it takes time to enter wines into Grapefoot; having wineries enter information and products frees up the site staff to work on other ways of improving the site for everyone. It is in the wineries' best interests to add and update their wines, keeping information up to date with new product releases and winery news. However the wineries do not have the ability to edit or remove any of the reviews made by the public. We believe both parties should have their say in the appropriate areas.
If you have decided to take the plunge and review a wine on Grapefoot.com, please include your tasting notes by ticking off the tastes you discovered in the wine.
Do not feel intimidated here, what you taste is personal and no two palettes are the same, you cannot be wrong. Entering tastes in when reviewing a wine on Grapefoot.com will help us with our future goal of creating a "personal wine genome project" where the site recommends wines to you based upon your reviews and tasting notes.
