Description:
Chateau de Beaucastel started when the Beaucastel family purchased some land at Cadoulet in 1549. The estate is now owned by the Perrin family.  This premier estate is located in the Southern Rhone Valley outside the town of Courthezon.  Chateau de Beaucastel is one of only three that has all fourteen grape varieties that are permitted in the making of Chateauneuf du Pape wines, white and red.  The estate has 272 acres of organic vineyards.
